This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Don't stress! I'll guide you through posing and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Just be yourself, have fun and enjoy the moment. Some of the best photos happen naturally!.
What should I wear?
I recommend choosing outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident! Neutrals, earthy tones and soft colors photograph beautifully, especially outdoors. Try coordinating with each other rather than matching exactly, and avoid large logos or busy patterns. Most importantly, wear something that feels like you!
Where will my session take place?
I love finding beautiful outdoor locations with natural light and plenty of variety. I'm happy to help you choose a location that fits your vision, whether you're dreaming of open fields, greenery, a riverside setting or something a little more personal.
What happens if it rains?
Virginia weather can be unpredictable! If the weather isn't suitable for your session, we'll communicate and work together to reschedule for a better day.
When will I receive my photos?
I typically deliver galleries within one week of your session. I'll send your finished gallery directly to your email so you can easily view, download and share your images!
Can I bring my kids or pets?
Absolutely! I love capturing families just as they are, and that includes the little ones and furry family members. Let me know ahead of time if you're bringing pets so we can choose a location that's a good fit.
How do I book a session?
It's easy! Head over to my booking page to view available sessions and choose the one that's right for you. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due the day before your session.
Are you available outside of Winchester, VA?
Absolutely! I'm happy to travel to surrounding areas for your session. Travel fees may apply for locations more than 40 miles away, so feel free to reach out with your location!
